L'Ormarins Queen's Plate Racing Festival 2020

Molded on famed international racing festivals such as the Qatar Goodwood Festival and Royal Ascot, 2017 saw the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate becoming South Africa’s first ever multi-day Racing Festival, now formally known as the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Racing Festival, which is held over a Friday and Saturday with the main L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Race being held on the Saturday.

2020 sees host to the fourth official L'Ormarins Queen's Plate Racing Festival, being held over Friday, 10th and Saturday, 11th of January, with the 159th running of the L'Ormarins Queen's Plate taking place on Saturday, 11th of January.

Various hospitality options will once again be available over both race days, including the much anticipated Garden Party being held on Friday, 10th of January.

Two Oceans Marathon 2020

The Two Oceans Marathon is the most attended running race in South Africa. It also boasts some of the best views you can experience while competing for such a prestigious title.

Africa’s biggest running event - regarded fondly by many as the world’s most beautiful marathon - spans 56km / 35miles of unrivalled scenic splendour. Cape Town’s most prestigious race takes place every year in the Mother City, the World’s Leading Festival and Events Destination, on Easter Saturday – 11 April 2020 and 3 April 2021.

The Two Oceans Marathon is host to more than 30 000 runners who tackle the 56km Ultra Marathon, Half Marathon, Trail Runs or cluster of Fun Runs.
