Camping

There is abundant camping space available at the venue. Sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. No booking of campsites allowed. No parking of vehicles in campsites, unless otherwise instructed.

Looking for all the fun, but don't want to sweat the regular festival camping route? There are a limited amount of luxury camping options for you, however, unfortunately they are all SOLD OUT!

Parking

Upon arrival at the venue you will be directed to ticket accreditation, after which, security will direct you to the parking areas. Park-and-camp spots are available, but at limited capacity and cannot be booked. Please make sure all valuables and belongings are taken out of your car.

The venue has limited parking capacity and in order to avoid overcrowding and reduce the waste footprint of the festival, a vehicle levy will be implemented. Car-pooling is strongly encouraged! Levies will be as follows:

Toy Run - Killarney - Sunday 24 November

The Toy Run is South Africa’s largest motorcycle ride, and it’s all for charity. Every year at the end of November, tens of thousands of bikes rally together for give joy to the needy children of South Africa. Thousands of toys are strapped to bikes and paraded through the major capital cities.

Whether you donate toys and gifts or funds, you immediately change the lives of children in need in homes, orphanages, places of safety and hospitals around the Western Cape – YOU can make the difference! The Toy Run Cape Town needs more toys to be donated – LOTS more.

AND although they primarily ask for the donation of toys and gifts to the Toy Run, funds also needed to run the event, to pay for the logistics involved with the event and the charity.

Unfortunately, while many very generous companies donate their services at cost to the event, there are still costs (traffic control, safety and security, fencing, tents, entertainment, permits, etc).

So PLEASE consider a small donation to help them reach our goal of R200 000!

The motorcycle run itself is FREE – starting from Grand Parade in the City and GrandWest in the North, and ending at Killarney International Raceway Potsdam Road Table View.

Mozart's Requiem & Coronation Mass

Two major works by Mozart are on the programme of this concert - the Requiem and Coronation Mass.

Undoubtedly, the Requiem is a masterpiece with many legends built up around it, but it is also one of the most loved, and well-known choral pieces. Along with the Requiem, we will be performing the Coronation Mass. Of the sacred works that Mozart composed, none is as well known or as popular as this piece.

Join the Pretoria Bach Choir as we explore the contrast between these two pieces. The choir and orchestra will be directed by much lauded conductor Gerben Grooten.
